Adobe has officially launched the Adobe Creative Suite 5. The features of Adobe Flash CS5 has been announced and the produced is expected to be available on the mid of May. The Inverse Kinematics and 3D options were really awesome new features brought to Flash CS4. Flash CS5 support development of iphone applications but are now useless as no such applications will be allowed in iPhone OS 4. This move harms Flash and Adobe a lot but Flash CS5 is not useless upgrade. Here are 5 great features of Adobe Flash Professional CS5:
1) New Text Engine (TLF): With this new feature, you can get complete control over text fields. You can format TLF text fields by advance styling, dividing columns, right to left options and more. Also, two text fields can be linked as if they behave as a single unit. Also included is an easy way to embed fonts.
2)Springs for Bones : And here’s some new features for designers. The IK bones has been enhanced with the new feature – “springs”. It can bring realistic physical effects for the bones.
3) Deco Drawing tools : The Deco tools (Decorative drawing tools) has seen a lot of improvements with addition of new features. The deco tool was added first in CS4 but was not very used but now with the addition of fire brush, lightning brush, building brush and some more, it can be more useful.
4) XFL (XML based FLAs) File format : The flash files will be stored in XFL files internally by default resulting in improved data exchange between Adobe Applications.
5) Integration with Flash builder : You can use Flash Builder as the primary Actionscript editor for Flash CS5.
