Content Aware fill on Photoshop CS5

Adobe has announced the features of its Creative Suite CS5. Photoshop CS5 has been released in 2 version – Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop CS5 extended. The extended version contains all features of the other version but also adds features for 3d-designers and those working in motion development. The upgrade from CS4 to CS5 not a minor one but includes some great features like automatic lens correction, Puppet Warp. Content Aware Fill and others for painting and drawing. Here are a brief introduction to new features of Photoshop CS5:

1)Content aware fill :
This tool removes some objects or items from your photo and adds pattern or background which matches you photo. You can use this awesome feature to remove unwanted stuffs like trees, poles or also in repairing torn or burnt photos. Similar feature is available in GIMP.

2) Puppet Warp
The Puppet Warp allows you to redefine the position of objects or people in photos. You can just change the position of your hands, bend your arms or rotate arms in your photos.

3) Refine edge :
You can now make selections easily. This enables to select even tiny objects like hair with ease.

4) Lens correction :
It corrects the three most common errors made by camera lens : geometric distortion, chromatic aberration, and vignetting.

5) Better painting with Mixer Brush and Bristle Tips.

6) HDR Pro : Create photo-realistic or surreal HDR images with unprecedented speed, control, and accuracy.

Photoshop CS5 is priced at $699, with an upgrade price of $199 while the extended edition costs $999 with upgrade price of $349.
