Since Gmail is lunching many projects to add many features, it is now not just a Email service.  Google has introduced call phone facility for Gmail users. It is providing free calls for US and CANADA till the end of 2010 and cheap calls over countries. You can view the call rates here. Gmail has provided credit of $.10 for all the users.

It is so simple to use Gmail Call phone. First login to Gmail and you can see Call Phone (Green color )tab down the inbox. Then you will be shown the image as *shown here. Then dial any US or CANADA phones. For dialing other countries you should add credit. It is so simple.

Since many companies are attracted toward voip services the internet gaint GOOGLE also entered this world. But yahoo had gone into it many years before .More service providers may results in low call rates and users may get more lower caller rates.

Though you need to pay in order to call other countries, you can call US and Canada from for free from any country. I have tried it from Nepal and it really works.

*For the first time Gmail will prompt to install it. click to install and you may see the same image as displayed.

Yes, you can call Canada for free. You can find the call phone option in your left sidebar (See the image below). If you still cannot find, it may be due to slow connections or the problem with your browser. Try with a different browser (use Firefox or Chrome).
