Microsoft will release customer preview of its new operating system ‘Windows 8? in February 29 2012 (a leap day) during an event in Barcelona, Spain.In September 2011 Microsoft released developer version of Windows 8 and now plans to provide preview of Windows 8 to the customer. The full version operating system shall be available by fall after which the customer preview will cease to function.
Microsoft sold around 450 million copies of Windows 7. There can be a huge audience for the upcoming Windows 8 as well. Advantage of Windows 8 over Windows 7 is that Windows 8 have good GUI which makes it suitable for tablets and mobiles.
